Origins
The Pau amarello is cut in the lower Amazonian basin,
in the tropical forest of the Moju and Tomeacu regions
located 300 km to the south of the port of Belem (Brazil).

Shape
It is a light coloured exotic wood, yellow in colour.
|
|
|
Use
Its wood is mainly sought for interior use (floors,
cabinetmaking, joinery, stairs, panelling, panels)
or for objects (toys, sports goods, brushes). At Flins,
the pau amarello used comes 97% from the above named
sites.
