Origins
Originates from Europe, a common tree in our forests.

Shape
Its height varies between 30 and 42 m. It flowers
in April. The leaves have between 9 and 11 leaflets
and turn pale yellow in autumn. The fruit is called
an ash key.

Use
Its light coloured wood, hard and elastic is used
in furniture and for interior fittings : floors, decorative
veneers, turned parts, curved parts for chairs, sports
goods, handles for hammers and axes.
